• Chief engineer new built vessel Merchant shipping Worldwide 8-10 weeks asap Chief engineer wanted on board of a new built Diesel Electric general cargo vessel. You will be working on board of new modern well equipped Dutch owned vessel which is trading internationally. The vessel is equipped with Diesel Electric propulsion and is wind assisted by Ventofoils. As Chief engineer you are responsible for all technical en mechanical systems on board, you report to the Captain and are responsible for the maintenance plans, you do the manintenace and repairs on all systems in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Requirements: - COC chief engineer <3000 KW - All STCW certificates up to date - Single engineer position - Hands on mentality Experience: - Previous experience on Diesel Elctric powered vessels is a plus.
