Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB.

This role is contributing to the smart power division in Bergamo.

You will be mainly accountable for

•

Assisting in reporting sustainability progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level sustainability objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required.

•

Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific programs and practices to ensure a strong focus on sustainability matters, across your respective organization.

•

Contributing to and executing sustainability-related projects.

•

Developing project objectives and reporting the progress to management.

Qualifications for the role

•

You are currently pursuing, or have recently completed, a degree in Engineering or a Scientific discipline.

•

You have an interest in sustainability practices, emissions reporting, and regulatory compliance.

•

Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology is considered a plus.

•

You are passionate about sustainability and demonstrate a proactive approach.

•

You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•

You are comfortable communicating in both Italian and English.
