Job Purpose & Scope
Responsible for supporting the department by providing a wide range of loan servicing tasks associated with maintaining a commercial or commercial real estate loan portfolio with varying and progressive degree of complexity.
Essential Job Functions
•
Assists with new loan proposal submissions with varying and progressive degree of complexity, and with a heightened level of overall deal flow.
•
Assists with the onboarding of new loans in the Bank’s loan management system (LMS) and reviews and verifies all data entered into the LMS is accurate based on supporting loan documentation.
•
Files loan modification and property-related documents electronically.
•
Processes monthly debt service and reserve payments, as needed.
•
Processes wire requests.
•
Maintains property tax and insurance information, including completing periodic escrow analyses, facilitating and/or confirming the payment of real estate taxes and insurance premiums, and collecting and filing property tax and insurance policy information.
•
Collects, verifies and files borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, credit checks and other related data.
•
Monitors upcoming compliance requirements (including expiring flood certifications and UCC filings) to ensure all items are processed/collected in accordance with the requirements of Bank policy and loan-related agreements.
•
May train other new and existing specialist in processes and procedures.
•
Follows Bank policy, procedures and guidelines.

Ability to read and interpret commercial loan documents.

Ability to maintain attention to detail.
•
Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
•
Skill in using computer, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Basic Qualifications
•
High school diploma or equivalent, required; Bachelor’s degree in a job-related field, preferred.
•
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in loan servicing loan operations, preferred.
•
Minimum three (3) year of banking experience, preferred.
Job Expectations
