Robotics Operations Technician
Job description
About the Role We are seeking Robotics Operations Technicians to support daily robot deployment, testing, and operational activities across a variety of robotics programs. The successful candidate will help ensure robotic systems operate safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor robotic systems during testing and production activities
- Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Conduct routine equipment inspections
- Support robot deployment, setup, and operational readiness checks
- Collect operational data and maintain activity logs
- Escalate technical issues to engineering teams
- Verify task completion and quality standards
- Assist with hardware swaps and peripheral equipment replacement
- Maintain organized and safe work environments
Requirements
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn robotics systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg)
- Comfortable working in warehouse, laboratory, or industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with robotics, automation, AV/ADAS, or industrial equipment
- Technical certification or vocational training
- Familiarity with operating procedures and quality systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools
