Our client is seeking a Senior Drupal Web Developer .

Location: Berwyn, PA

Position Type: Contract

-Our client is currently looking for a Senior Drupal Web Developer to interface with business clients within the company to capture business requirements, provide specifications, design web business solutions and coordinate projects through delivery, including maintenance planning.

• Facilitates the development team's responsibilities with application development, testing and documentation.
• Coordinates the work of the development team to implement projects on time and within scope.
• Develops web applications and content utilizing ASP, HTML, and XML. JavaScript, VB Script and other identified primary web technologies and tools.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the areas

Web design

• Provide thought leadership and design implementation skills for internal (intranet) and external web properties.
• Proficient in front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS and Javascript .
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery as well as industry trends such as responsive web design and mobile-first design implementation.

Web development

• Provide development expertise in building new and supporting existing web applications.
• Proficient in server-side technologies such as PHP, ASP, ASP.NET as well as the Drupal content management system/framework.
• Also perform basic database architecture and design tasks. Familiar with SQL Server 2000+, MySQL 5+ and Oracle database servers.

Business and Systems Analysis

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Work with development team members to architect a technology and business process solution to meet the needs of the business.
• Communicate with stakeholders and development team, as well as external consultants, to ensure that requirements are being satisfied.
• Lead or participate in other projects or duties.
• Occasional travel required.

Education & Training

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Work Experience

• 8+ years working as an ASP, PHP or Drupal developer
• Has focused on the system architecture and not the content of company material, uses experience with a variety of network technologies to lead internal and external clients with Internet-, intranet-, or extranet-based applications, including but not limited to ASP, PHP, Java, XML, HTML, CGI, and Drupal CMS.
• Should have experience with SQL database interactions and data modeling tools.
• Researches, tracks and understands new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements as they pertain to intranet and external Internet-related systems.
• Builds applications using Internet and Windows Development tools.
• Provides written design documents, test plans and test results.
• Manages, develops, integrates and implements related applications components, including front-end development, server-side development and database integration.
• Plays a direct role in programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation and administration of the applications.
• Establishes and communicates standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications.
• Work with outside vendors/agencies when developing tests to ensure feature functionality.
• Ability to apply professional concepts and experience to evaluate identifiable factors in order to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
• Ability to work without supervision. Latitude for independent decision making.
• Ability to network with senior internal and external personnel.
• Ability to listen and understand information and communicate the same.
• Must possess good organizational, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Must be results oriented customer focused, and exhibit good interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
