ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
The Head of Revenue Operations is responsible for the strategy, design and execution of revenue processes, data and tooling across the full client lifecycle. The role serves as a central, shared capability supporting both the Private Capital Services and Institutional Capital Services Divisions, ensuring consistent go-to-market execution, pricing discipline, revenue integrity and commercial insight globally.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Own the revenue operating model across the end-to-end client lifecycle, spanning demand generation, sales (including cross and up selling) and retention for both divisions.
- Standardise commercial processes, governance, definitions and hand-offs across jurisdictions to improve consistency, visibility and client experience.
- Lead annual and in-year revenue planning, including pipeline management standards, forecasting cadence, account coverage approaches and performance tracking.
- Partner with divisional leadership, including marketing, to translate commercial plans into budgets, capacity plans, investment priorities and growth initiatives.
- Develop and govern pricing frameworks, fee review disciplines and revenue controls suited to trust, fund and corporate administration mandates.
- Own the commercial data model and reporting suite across crm and client service platforms, establishing a reliable single source of truth for performance insight.
- Define and track kpis such as pipeline health, win rates, time-to-revenue, retention, client profitability and pricing realisation across products, clients and regions.
- Lead the strategy, optimisation and adoption of crm and revenue-related systems, ensuring tools support the needs of both private capital services and institutional capital services teams.
- Act as a strategic business partner to senior leaders across marketing, sales, commercial office and finance, using data and insight to shape commercial decisions.
- Lead change programmes that improve scalability, harmonise practices across regions or acquired businesses, and strengthen revenue operations capability over time.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Significant experience in revenue operations, commercial operations or a closely related function at senior manager, head of or director level within a global financial or professional services organisation.
- Strong preference for experience in trust, fiduciary, fund administration, corporate services, asset servicing or adjacent financial services sectors.
- Demonstrated success in designing and scaling revenue processes, commercial reporting, forecasting and enabling systems across multiple business lines and stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate data into practical actions that support revenue growth, operational efficiency and improved commercial discipline.
- Strong understanding of complex, relationship-led services businesses, ideally with exposure to private capital and institutional client segments.
- Advanced capability in CRM, analytics and business intelligence tools, with a disciplined approach to data quality, process design and performance management.
