Senior Projects Officer, Temporary, Sydney
- Clerk Grade 9/10
- $133,348 to $146,945 base plus 12% super and leave loading, commensurate with experience
- Temporary role up to August 2027, with the potential to become ongoing.

- Onsite presence at the project and attendance at the Infrastructure NSW located in Barangaroo.

About
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to work on a high-profile project at Bank Street Park.
In a first for the NSW Government, construction partner BESIX Watpac is working towards 50% female participation across the project lifecycle. You will be part of a project that is helping to set a new benchmark for the industry by promoting greater diversity, inclusion and workforce participation across the infrastructure sector

Some of the key accountabilities for the role include
- Coordinate the planning, design development, procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring objectives are achieved within approved scope, budget, schedule and governance requirements.
- Manage project governance, reporting and assurance activities, including performance monitoring across scope, cost, schedule, risk and quality, and provide recommendations to support informed decision-making.
- Coordinate procurement, contract administration and stakeholder engagement activities, managing consultants, contractors, government agencies and key project interfaces to support successful delivery outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, governance records and risk management processes while contributing to a collaborative team culture and continuous improvement in project delivery practices.
About You
As a Senior Project Officer, you will support the planning, procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects. You are an organised and proactive professional with strong project coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
You can manage competing priorities, identify risks, solve problems and work collaboratively to deliver successful project outcomes.
This project is committed to increasing female participation in the infrastructure and construction industry through industry partnerships, mentoring programs and inclusive workplace practices that create pathways for women to build rewarding careers in the sector.
