Job Description
As a Public Relations Assistant, you will provide administrative and communications support to the public relations team. You will assist with media communications, coordinate promotional activities, prepare written materials, and help maintain a positive public image for the organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining positive relationships with media contacts and community partners.
- Prepare press releases, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Support the planning and coordination of events, campaigns, and public outreach initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports on public relations activities.
- Help maintain consistent brand messaging across communications.
- Coordinate internal and external communications as assigned.
- Conduct research to support marketing and public relations strategies.
- Provide administrative support for ongoing communication projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective communication efforts.
