Your Everyday Impact
Lead with Purpose
- Prioritize, coordinate, and oversee occupational therapy services for your patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to drive exceptional patient outcomes.
- Promote and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and caregivers.
- Consult with leadership when additional support is needed to ensure timely, safe, and effective patient care. •
欄 Deliver Exceptional Patient Care
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment findings.
- Establish measurable goals and create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Reassess, revise, and celebrate milestones throughout the rehabilitation process.
Educate & Empower
- Guide patients and families through each stage of recovery with education, encouragement, and support.
- Teach occupational therapy skills and techniques that promote independence both during hospitalization and at home.
- Connect patients and caregivers with appropriate resources and continuum-of-care services.
Advocate & Communicate
- Serve as a trusted resource for patients and families by addressing questions, concerns, and changes in condition.
- Ensure continuity of care through clear, timely communication with all members of the healthcare team.
- Foster an exceptional experience for every patient and family you serve.
Document & Improve
- Accurately document evaluations, treatment plans, progress, goals, and charges using approved documentation standards.
- Maintain detailed treatment plans with measurable short- and long-term objectives.
- Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives and contribute ideas to advance clinical excellence.
Be a Team Player
- Share knowledge and best practices with fellow OT professionals.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Step in and help where needed—because great teams succeed together.

Qualifications
Required
- Current Occupational Therapy (OT) License through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
