About The Role The Director, Business Development provides comprehensive support to Advisors by using educational

resources, offering advice, coaching, and presenting sales solutions. The Director, Business Development

drives new sales growth within their assigned block of advisors, as well as recruiting advisors and blocks of

business to HUB by understanding and promoting our value proposition.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive regional sales in all lines of business
  • Recruit advisors and blocks of business to HUB
  • Building strong advisor relationships with new and existing HUB Advisors
  • Provide a wholistic insurance solution to brokers based on the needs of the clients
  • Promote HUB tools and resources to HUB advisors
  • Represent HUB at various industry and HUB meetings
  • Participate in campaigns to drive new insurance business
  • Continuous learning and participating in insurance and investment industry training to stay informed
  • and educated on industry best business practices

What You’ll Need for Success

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the life insurance industry
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Insurance of person licensed (Life License Qualification Program) is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and strategies
  • Good knowledge of taxation regulations which impact insurance solutions
  • Outstanding presentation and communication capabilities
  • Proficiency in training and mentoring others in prospecting for new business and establishing efficient
  • sales methodologies
  • Exhibit a strong inclination and readiness to pursue further industry education (such as QAFP, CFP, and

CLU certifications) to foster career growth at HUB.

Compensation The expected salary for this position is $100,00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
