About the Role

We're looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our growing HealthTech team. You will play a key role in building and scaling technology solutions that address significant challenges in Singapore's healthcare landscape. This role requires you to be a versatile full-stack engineer , comfortable working across different parts of our systems – from frontend interfaces to backend logic and infrastructure. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within the public sector, transforming user needs and product goals into high-quality, impactful software.

Key Responsibilities

•

Design, develop, and deploy scalable production-ready software across the stack - from frontend components to backend services and infrastructure.

•

Write maintainable, readable, and performant code while participating in code reviews to ensure engineering quality.

•

Work closely with PMs, designers, and officers on the ground to identify opportunities, scope features, test hypotheses, and ship solutions that solve real pain points.

•

Write and review engineering documentation such as RFCs and technical specifications to improve knowledge sharing.

•

Set up robust monitoring, alerting, and testing practices to ensure our systems are production-ready and reliable.

•

Own features end-to-end, from discovery and prototyping to deployment and iteration.

What we are looking for

•

Strong foundation across modern software engineering and multiple layers of the stack.

•

Experience designing REST APIs and working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

•

Excellent communication skills, especially in understanding and translating problems and requirements into software.

•

Strong product thinking and empathy for users - especially non-technical ones.

•

A mission-driven mindset: motivated by impact, not just technology—driven by the chance to save lives and strengthen public safety .

•

(Bonus) Experience in startups or fast-paced environments; proven ability to succeed in dynamic settings and manage shifting priorities with sometimes challenging stakeholders.

•

(Bonus) Familiarity with the healthcare sector is a plus, but not necessary
