Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Experience in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
• Install, test, commission, and maintain Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) .
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with electrical and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to complete assigned projects.
• Prepare maintenance and inspection reports as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience as an Electrician.
• Proven experience in FDAS (Fire Detection and Alarm Systems) installation, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance .
• Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform fieldwork when required.
• Willing to work on-site and render overtime when necessary.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
