Senior Partner Marketing Manager
Job description
Apify is the largest marketplace of tools for AI, the place where developers, AI builders, and data teams find, run, and build tools that power their agents and AI workflows. We started as a web scraping platform. Today, we're the infrastructure behind data extraction pipelines, MCP integrations, AI agents, and automated workflows that teams around the world depend on.
We're growing fast, and our partner ecosystem is a big part of how we scale. We work with industry leaders, including AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Clay, and others, and these relationships are becoming a core part of how Apify reaches new audiences, drives pipeline, and wins in the market. That's why we're looking for a Sr. Partner Marketing Manager to own these relationships from a marketing perspective and make sure we're getting the most out of every one of them.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Build and execute joint GTM plans with key technology partners (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Clay, and others), from messaging and co-branded assets to sponsored placements, events, and pipeline-generating campaigns.
- Develop joint partner value propositions and make sure they're consistent everywhere partners show up, including co-sell motions with the right positioning and enablement content.
- Drive Apify's presence across partner platforms, like AWS or Snowflake marketplace, keeping content, descriptions, assets, and positioning always current and on-brand.
- Own the partner marketing budget and manage marketing development funds (MDF) so Apify gets the most value out of every opportunity: track what's coming in, allocate funds strategically.
- Work closely with Product and Sales to make sure partner marketing reflects the product roadmap and that Sales always has what they need to close partner-sourced deals.
- Act as the primary marketing contact for Apify Partners and partner teams, running regular check-ins and making sure things actually move.
- Maintain a shared source of truth for partner marketing: active initiatives, guidelines, best practices, and asset libraries.
- Represent Apify at co-hosted partner events, hackathons, or focused meetups, and coordinate the narrative and presence with the partners and broader internal GTM team.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- You have at least 4 years in partner marketing, channel marketing, or B2B marketing in a SaaS or developer tooling environment.
- You can translate a high-level partnership into a concrete marketing plan and then actually execute it. You're as comfortable building a campaign brief as you are chasing a logo update on AWS Marketplace.
- You're organized and proactive. Keeping track of things comes naturally to you.
- You have strong written communication skills and can create partner-facing materials that are clear, on-brand, and genuinely useful.
- You're comfortable working across a lot of stakeholders at once - internal teams, partner managers, product and marketing teams - and you know how to align them without losing momentum.
- You understand performance metrics and can report on the impact of partner marketing activities in terms that matter to the business (pipeline, revenue influence, marketplace traffic).
- Bonus: you have experience with developer-focused audiences, AI/ML tooling ecosystems, or cloud marketplaces.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS
Your first goal is to understand the Apify platform, its products, its users, how they use it, and why they love it. The role sits across multiple teams. You'll work closely with the Partnership and Core Services Product teams.
You'll start by mapping the current state of partner marketing at Apify: what exists, what's missing, and where the biggest opportunities are. There's no polished playbook to inherit. Your first job is to audit, prioritize, and start building.
BY THE END OF THE FIRST MONTH, WE EXPECT YOU TO
- Complete onboarding, meet key stakeholders, and audit what's already happening across partner marketing: campaigns, listings, MDF agreements, and events.
- Present a prioritized view of gaps and quick wins.
- Build and run a real Actor on the Apify platform - understand compute units, storage, and the developer experience firsthand.
- Know where to find and interpret data on platform adoption, compute usage, storage usage, and API call volumes - so you can answer questions like: Which platform features are growing fastest? Where is adoption dropping off?
BY THE END OF THE FIRST 3 MONTHS, WE EXPECT YOU TO
- Have at least one joint GTM campaign live or in production with a Tier 1 partner.
- Have all marketplace listings updated to current messaging and branding.
- Have an MDF plan and tracking in place through H2 2026.
BY THE END OF THE FIRST 6 MONTHS, WE EXPECT YOU TO
- Have a functioning partner marketing calendar and ways-of-working framework.
- Show measurable output: pipeline influenced, marketplace traffic, MDF utilization.
- Inform 2027 planning with a clear view of what to scale and where to invest.
