Job description

Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future

Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.

We’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.

Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced IAM Engineer to own and evolve our Okta environment. You will be responsible for the full identity lifecycle. From HRIS driven provisioning and access policy to Terraform-managed configuration and Workflows automation. This role sits at the intersection of security, infrastructure, and developer experience, and is a great fit for someone who prefers infrastructure as code over clicking through admin consoles.

You will report to the Director of IT and work closely with the security, infrastructure, and compliance teams across our factory locations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own our Okta service end to end.
  • Manage all Okta configuration through Terraform.
  • Configure and maintain HRIS-as-master-of-record provisioning
  • Build and maintain Okta Workflows and API-based automation for access request routing, access reviews, onboarding, and offboarding orchestration.
  • Support CMMC Level 2 requirements.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • 4+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with Okta as the primary platform.
  • Familiarity with the Okta product portfolio and the ability to map current capabilities and the Okta roadmap to the organization's identity strategy
  • Experience managing Okta via Terraform with a GitOps change process.
  • Experience building and maintaining HRIS-to-Okta integrations with Rippling or a comparable systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows for lifecycle automation and access orchestration.
  • Experience with Okta Universal Sync.
  • Solid understanding of SAML 2.0, OIDC/OAuth 2.0, SCIM, and modern MFA (FIDO2, WebAuthn, phishing-resistant methods).
  • Scripting/automation skills in Python or JavaScript/Node.js using the Okta Management SDK or REST API.
  • Familiarity with identity security concepts: Zero Trust, least privilege, Conditional Access, SoD, and access certification.

Nice to Have

  • Experience configuration and implementation of Okta MCP server.
  • Implementing Okta Privileged Access.
  • Familiarity with CMMC Level 2 control requirements.
  • Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, or Developer certification.
  • Background in Aerospace and defense manufacturing or other similarly regulated-industries.

BENEFITS FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES

  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees
  • 401k
  • Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Equity
