Honda of Tenafly is Hiring a Service & Parts Manager!
$150,000 – $200,000 Annual Earning Potential (Based on Experience)
Honda of Tenafly, part of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is seeking an experienced, results-driven Service & Parts Manager to lead our Fixed Operations team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated automotive leader who excels at developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of increasing profitability, improving customer satisfaction, and successfully managing both Service and Parts operations in a dealership environment.
What You'll Do
Service Operations
- Lead all service department operations to maximize profitability, productivity, and customer retention.
- Drive performance through key service metrics, including:
- Repair order growth
- Technician productivity and efficiency
- Sales per repair order
- Warranty performance and comeback reduction
- Customer satisfaction and retention
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, and support staff.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally while ensuring an exceptional ownership experience.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve departmental goals and financial objectives.
- Maintain budgets, control expenses, and ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
Parts Operations
- Oversee all aspects of the Parts Department, including purchasing, inventory management, pricing, merchandising, and wholesale growth.
- Partner closely with the Service Department to ensure timely availability of parts for customer repairs and internal work.
- Monitor inventory levels to maximize profitability while minimizing obsolescence.
- Train, motivate, and manage Parts Department employees to achieve departmental goals.
- Establish and maintain pricing strategies that balance profitability, customer loyalty, and competitive positioning.
- Continue to expand wholesale parts business opportunities.
- Handle customer concerns promptly and professionally.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Foster strong collaboration between the Service, Parts, and Sales departments.
- Create a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
- Attend management meetings and contribute to dealership performance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturer, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of automotive dealership management experience in Service, Parts, or Fixed Operations.
- Proven success leading dealership Service and/or Parts departments.
- Strong knowledge of dealership operations, inventory management, fixed operations metrics, and customer satisfaction processes.
- Demonstrated ability to increase revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong computer and dealership management system experience.
- Honda dealership experience is preferred but not required.
