About the Role

Neolytix is a US-headquartered healthcare management services company supporting medical practices, groups, and health systems across the US. We are hiring a Payment Posting Specialist to join our Gurugram Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team. You will be responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining clean, audit-ready records that keep our clients' revenue cycle running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post ERAs (electronic remittance advices), EOBs, and manual payments from insurance carriers and patients into the billing system with accuracy.
  • Apply payments, adjustments, write-offs, and denials to the correct patient accounts and claim lines.
  • Reconcile daily batches against bank deposits and remittance totals; flag and resolve discrepancies.
  • Identify and route denials, underpayments, and short-pays to the appropriate AR / denials team.
  • Handle unapplied and unidentified cash, and clear credit balances per client SOPs.
  • Maintain productivity and quality (accuracy) targets defined for the process.
  • Escalate posting issues, missing remittances, or payer trends to the team lead promptly.
  • Ensure all activity complies with HIPAA and client data-handling standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Payment Posting within US healthcare RCM / medical billing.
  • Working knowledge of ERAs, EOBs, CPT / ICD codes, adjustment and denial (CARC / RARC) codes, and the RCM workflow.
  • Experience with a US medical billing platform / clearinghouse (e.g., AdvancedMD, Athena, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, or similar).
  • Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and reconciliation skills.
  • Comfortable working the full night shift onsite in Gurugram.
  • Good written and verbal English communication.
  • Graduate in any discipline.

Good to Have

  • Exposure to denial management or AR follow-up.
  • Familiarity with payer portals and lockbox / EFT reconciliation.

What We Offer

  • Onsite role in a growing US healthcare operations team in Gurugram.
  • Structured RCM training and a clear growth path.
  • Night-shift allowance and transport as per company policy.
