Job Title: Human Resources Generalist- Microelectronics
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN (Hybrid- in office 3-4 days per week)
Travel Required: Moderate (20–30%) to other sites.
Pay: $75,000-$85,000
The Human Resources Generalist provides comprehensive HR support to the Microelectronics Division across multiple U.S. locations. This role partners with managers and employees to support employee relations, performance management, workforce administration, policy interpretation, compliance, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary HR partner for assigned Microelectronics sites, supporting managers and employees across a diverse workforce.
· Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, attendance, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
· Conduct workplace investigations and support consistent, fair, and compliant resolution of employee concerns.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
· Support employee engagement, retention, development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
· Coordinate onboarding activities and support workforce transitions for employees, contractors, subcontractors, and contingent labor populations.
· Assist with the administration of HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, payroll-related inquiries, and performance review processes.
· Partner with business leaders to identify workforce challenges and develop practical HR solutions that support business objectives.
· Collaborate with EHS and site leadership to support workplace safety, compliance, and employee well-being initiatives.
· Support the development and continuous improvement of HR processes, procedures, and programs within a rapidly growing and evolving business environment.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or technical operations environment.
· Experience supporting multi-site operations.
· Japanese language proficiency is highly desirable due to collaboration with global business partners and stakeholders.
· PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
