Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warranty Technician (TST) is an expert with advanced knowledge in the diagnosis and repair of the full offering of Service Champions HVAC Home Comfort systems.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Primarily responsibility for the TST is to diagnose and repair the HVAC home comfort system.

  • Know and live up to Service Champions core values at all times.
  • Lead and coordinate the installation project
  • Clean the project area in the client’s home after the project completion.
  • Keep a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Communicate with the client before, during and after the project and completion of all project paperwork, including payment collection, when necessary.
  • Responsible for jobsite safety including proper PPE is worn, and processes are followed.
  • Run all calls they are assigned, including in other Service Center’s territories.
  • Attend all required meetings and training.
  • Knowledge of the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan and a safety mindset.
  • Work in partnership with all other teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform high priority duties daily.
  • Focused on quality and results driven, attention to detail.
  • Brazing, Removing evaporator from fully charged system and re-install, Remove compressor from fully charged system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot TXV, Honeywell Zone Systems, Static Pressure Systems, variable speed motors and control boards.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC electrical systems, communicating zone systems.
  • Advanced and up to date knowledge of all code requirements for the territories serviced.
  • Advanced knowledge and technical skills regarding our Company Equipment, Water Heater and Pure Flow processes.
  • Keen ability to work accurately, efficiently, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excel within a team environment and willing to support all production areas of the business.
  • Be able to work independently and in a team.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Maintain an EPA 608 Core and Type II Certification.
  • Ability to maintain company driving privileges at all times.
  • Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in the English language.
