About the Role

Summary

The Consumer Loan System Product Analyst is a key contributor to the bank’s consumer lending operations and technology strategy. This position serves as a strategic liaison between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring enhancements to DecisionPro, LaserPro, Jack Henry and other consumer lending platforms align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and user experience standards.

This role is responsible for supporting divisional end users, administering assigned applications, and delivering training materials and system documentation. The Analyst supports daily loan operations by troubleshooting workflow issues, maintaining data integrity, and developing reference materials. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and passionate about continuous improvement.

As a part of the Loan Operations Team, the Analyst acts as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and end users driving system optimization and supporting day-to-day operational needs to drive the evolution of the consumer lending platforms. Performs in a highly visible bank facing role by performing in discovery, data analysis and testing for DecisionPro and LaserPro. Works closely with Product Manager to ensure work aligns with policy and procedures. Utilizes Finastra knowledge to work closely with development & testing teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements and user needs.

This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

Description

Responsible for collaborating with stakeholders (Consumer Product Manager, credit admin, loan officer, underwriters, processors, loan assistants and servicing teams to elicit, analyze and document business requirements for new features or enhancements in loan systems.

Process analysis and optimization of existing lending processes, identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, and propose improvements to streamline operations and enhance scalability. Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current system capabilities and business needs, recommending and supporting system enhancements.

Provide Solution design and translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams, potentially including creating use cases, process flows and wireframes. Support system implementation & configuration of the Loan Origination System (LOS), servicing platforms and interfaces.

Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that implemented solutions meet business expectations and documented requirements.

Create and maintain system documentation, including process flows, data mapping, user guides and training materials, working closely with the Division Loan Trainers.

Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating communication and collaboration through the project lifecycle. Serves as the primary point of contact for divisional end user support for DecisionPro, LaserPro and other consumer lending platforms. Administer assigned applications and provide training to users across divisions as well as document procedures and develop reference materials to support system usage and training. Maintain data integrity and provide monthly or quarterly QC as needed.

Participate and help manage the M&A conversion by working closely with the Corporate Loan Trainer and Procedure Specialist and the Corporate Loan Operations team for a successful addition to our Glacier Bank Family of Banks. This will include communication and collaboration with various teams within the organization. Follow up with any additional LOS system enhancement requests as new systems or vendors are added to existing pool of systems and services.

Ensure the loan system development and enhancements adhere and comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, Reg B, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, etc. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.

Travel

Up to 15% travel required: (e.g. 3.5 days/month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
