Position Summary
We are seeking a highly capable Endpoint Applications & Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support and application lifecycle management across the organization. This role is responsible for packaging, deploying, maintaining, and supporting applications while also delivering hands-on IT support to ensure reliable and secure end-user computing environments.
The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple support tiers, with a strong focus on automation, standardization, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Application Packaging and Deployment
- Create, maintain, and update application packages for enterprise deployment using PowerShell, Microsoft Intune, PatchMyPc, and other standard tools.
- Package applications for both Windows and MacOS environments, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Test application packages for functionality, performance, and compatibility prior to deployment.
- Troubleshoot installation, upgrade, and removal issues across multiple environments.
- Maintain application documentation, versioning, and deployment procedures.
IT Support & Operations
- Provide helpdesk support on-site in the Medellin, CO office with additional support across global locations
- Serve as the first point of contact in the Medellin office for teammates seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, Teams, or via the IT Ticket platform.
- Keep accurate notes of issues and troubleshooting steps taken within the IT Ticket platform.
- Assist with maintaining IT and end-user knowledge base articles
- Configure, maintain, troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and other computer equipment.
- Maintain user accounts and permissions in Entra, Office 365, and other enterprise systems.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, ensuring they have the necessary IT resources and training.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to empathize with end-users, actively listen to their concerns, and provide clear and effective solutions to technical issues.
- Hands-on experience with application packaging and deployment tools (Intune, SCCM, or similar)
- Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and common IT support tools.
- Experience supporting common engineering applications (Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, ) - Desired
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation - Desired
