Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Nokomis, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, as assigned.
- Monitor access to the property by observing visitor activity, checking authorized entry points, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or maintenance-related concerns.
- Assist with enforcing community rules and property guidelines through visible presence, clear communication, and timely notification of security-related issues or hazards.
Minimum Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
