As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in San Francisco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, support routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor access control points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, screening visitors, issuing passes, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management, tenants, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance or life property concerns.
• Complete detailed reports related to access activity, incidents, and/or policy violations, and support tenant and visitor inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
