Manages the development and implementation of the Marketing goals and strategies of driving cost effective, new customer acquisitions, and incremental revenue for Paychex products and services through our web presence, paid social, programmatic media, content syndication, online video, and account-based marketing programs. Works closely with Marketing leaders to strategize, research, develop, and implement online initiatives that deliver against Paychex' business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads strategic technology roadmap for marketing and day-to-day operations of the current platforms in place to improve efficiency, ensure standardization of data definitions, and increase improved resource allocation.
  • Oversees testing and implementation of campaigns to actively analyze targeting and segmentation, advertising creative, landing pages, and positioning to increase ROI and drive volume. Researches and presents new developments and opportunities for ongoing campaign optimization.
  • Manages a team of digital marketing strategists to develop and execute marketing online strategies.
  • Partners closely with integrated campaign and brand marketing teams to activate key programs for the Paychex family of brands.
  • Gathers industry research, competitive landscape information, and trade intelligence for digital strategy development and optimization to support inter-department goals within Paychex.
  • Ideates, executes, and reports on signal-driven account-based marketing initiatives for key accounts & audience segments.
  • Utilizes enterprise attribution and performance analytics tools to optimize Paychex websites and improve search rankings, lead submissions, and revenue.
  • Strategizes and manages performance of all paid campaigns to reach target metrics and monthly goals.
  • Manages relationships and drives programs and day-to-day operations with agency partners, advertising vendors (Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, etc.), and pay-per-lead aggregators to ensure ongoing support and value while executing against plan to reach goals.
  • Prepares the capital and operating budgets for the cost center(s) and analyzes interdepartmental reports as they relate to the cost center(s). Achieves cost center projections through labor expense and administrative expense controls. Manages search and web budgets for multiple campaigns to ensure overall budgets are adhered to.
  • Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure all department needs are handled appropriately. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources as required for professional advancement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Previous supervisory or management experience. Strong experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • 9 years of experience in Web and technical experience, including search engine marketing experience. .
