As a GL Accountant you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance and smooth financial operations within an international industrial environment.
Your responsibilities
- Manage general accounting from A to Z (journal entries, bank transactions, accruals, intercompany accounts)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with BEGAAP
- Manage VAT returns and support corporate income tax declarations
- Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Manage fixed assets and depreciation
- Support internal and external audits
- Contribute to process improvements and internal controls
Your profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in general accounting and taxation
- Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, VAT and corporate income tax
- Experience with SAP or another ERP system and strong Excel skills
- Fluent in French with a professional level of English; Dutch is a plus
- Accurate, analytical, autonomous and reliable
