Working under the direct supervision of the lead tech, receives and processes case schedules, and performs other secretarial and clerical duties. Other duties may be assigned

Responsibilities

  • 1. Receives, records, and reserves interventional radiology (IR) time.
  • 2. Schedules IR time for BH IR and PAMC IR and other related departments. Will verify all fax and verbal bookings from physician and admitting offices in accordance with departmental guidelines as observed by supervisor and as indicated by feedback.
  • 3. Performs similar or related duties as required or directed.
  • 4. Performs other secretarial and clerical duties including quality assurance procedures/reports as directed and indicated by observation of supervisor.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

One year related experience preferred

SPECIAL SKILLS

Excellent interpersonal and initiative skill, typing and windows application proficiency required. Able to multitask between phone, computer and add on cases.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. They are frequently required to reach with hands and arms. They are occasionally required to sit. They must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
