The firm manages $5.8B AUM (as of December 31, 2025) and has invested in more than 80 companies.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

The Lead AI Advocate, reporting to the AI Technical Lead, plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between Georgian’s AI/ML tools and the developer community. This role focuses on fostering meaningful engagement within the Transferred Learning community, curating and executing educational content and program events end to end, and championing open-source initiatives. The Developer Advocate will also stay at the forefront of AI/ML trends, ensuring that Georgian’s tools and research remain relevant and impactful.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in AI/ML, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for community building. The role requires collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders to promote Georgian’s research repositories, tools, and initiatives while driving adoption and engagement within the developer ecosystem.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in Python, programming techniques, and software development.
• Strong understanding of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) concepts.
• Experience with open-source tools and repository management (e.g., GitHub).
• Expertise in creating technical content, including tutorials, notebooks, and blog posts.

SOFT SKILLS

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership and thought leadership capabilities.
• Effective project management and multitasking skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in the ML/AI startup ecosystem.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated success in AI/ML community management and creating developer-focused content.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN & DELIVER

• Community Management & Support: Manage the Transferred Learning community, engage in thought leader conversations, and build trust. Success means to be able to build and maintain a highly engaged Transferred Learning community.
• Content Creation & Education: Develop tutorials, blog posts, and educational programs in collaboration with internal and external experts. Success means to be able to deliver high-quality, developer-centric content that drives adoption of Georgian’s tools and research.
• Open Source & Technical Work: Champion Georgian’s open-source initiatives, collaborating with contributors to boost adoption. Success means to be able to increase the visibility and adoption of Georgian’s open-source initiatives.
• AI/ML Trends & Market Research: Stay informed on AI/ML trends and relay insights to internal teams and the community. Success means to be able to provide actionable insights on AI/ML trends to internal teams and the community.
• Events & Networking: Organize and participate in tech events, building relationships with key influencers. Success means to be able to establish strong relationships with key influencers and stakeholders through events and advocacy efforts.
• Advocacy & Promotion: Promote Georgian’s tools, research repositories, and initiatives within the developer ecosystem.

• 45-min intro call – Explore alignment on values, motivations, and career trajectory
• 60-min technical deep-dive – AI vibe coding & discussions followed by technical
• Take-home tech challenge & 90-min final panel – Present your solution to R&D, Product, Investment, Marketing, and Community partners (includes executive-pitch simulation)
