Business Development Executive

About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue growth. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence by generating leads, pitching our products/services, and converting prospects into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and digital outreach.
- Generate and qualify leads, building a healthy sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product/service demonstrations to prospective customers.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and follow-ups to close deals.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing in line with company guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align business development efforts with company strategy.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify areas for growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role (fresh graduates with strong communication skills may also be considered).
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong prospecting and lead-generation abilities across multiple channels (calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals).
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
