Account Manager Specialty Coffee Benelux
About Breville
Over the past 80+ years Breville has grown to become an iconic global brand, delivering kitchen products to over 70 countries around the globe. Breville enhances people’s lives through the delivery of brilliant innovation and thoughtful design based on deep consumer insights, empowering people to do things more impressively or easily than they’d thought possible in their own home and ultimately allowing them to “Master Every Moment”.
A career at Breville is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. It’s more than working for a global leader; it’s an opportunity to be a part of something that impacts people all over the world.
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager Specialty Coffee to join our commercial team and drive growth across the Benelux market. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of high-value specialty coffee accounts — including independent roasters, specialty retail chains, and on-trade partners — building long-term relationships and translating deep category knowledge into commercial results. You will work closely with internal marketing, supply chain, and trade marketing teams to develop tailored account plans and bring our specialty coffee portfolio to life at the point of sale.
Key responsibilities include
- Owning and growing a defined portfolio of specialty coffee accounts across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, with full P&L accountability including net sales, front margin, and trade spend.
- Managing a multi-brand portfolio spanning Sage, Lelit, and Baratza within the specialty coffee channel — positioning each brand distinctly across equipment tiers, from entry-level grinders to prosumer espresso machines, and ensuring coherent range architecture at account level.
- Developing joint business plans with key accounts, setting clear volume, distribution, and visibility targets aligned to the annual commercial plan for each brand.
- Acting as a trusted category expert and advisor to buyers, leveraging market data (GfK, Circana, internal sell-out) to support ranging decisions and promotional planning across the full portfolio.
- Negotiating annual trading agreements, promotional calendars, and media/activation budgets, ensuring COOP accruals are planned, tracked, and utilised effectively.
- Identifying and converting new business opportunities within the specialty coffee channel, including online pure players, artisan retail, and foodservice-adjacent accounts.
- Collaborating with brand and trade marketing teams to execute in-store activations, product launches, and seasonal campaigns that drive visibility and conversion across all three brands.
- Monitoring sell-out performance per brand and reacting quickly to stock, pricing, or distribution issues that risk account health.
- Representing the full brand portfolio at trade events, customer meetings, and industry forums relevant to the specialty coffee community
Salary €60,000 - €65,000
We’re Interested in Hearing from People Who Have
- 5+ years of key account management experience in consumer electronics, home appliances, or specialty food & beverage, with a proven track record of delivering commercial targets
- Deep affinity with the specialty coffee community you know your single origin from your blend, your burr grinder from your blade, and you can hold a credible conversation with a Q-grader or a boutique roaster
- Experience managing multi-brand or multi-category portfolios, with the ability to position distinct brands coherently within the same channel and customer
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence in commercial conversations, from annual trading terms to promotional investment and media fees
- Analytical fluency comfortable working with sell-out data, margin calculations, and account P&Ls to build a case, spot a risk, or identify an opportunity
- A well-developed network within the Benelux specialty retail, e-commerce, or on-trade landscape, with existing relationships that can be activated from day one
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver joint account plans and activations
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is a strong advantage for coverage of the Belgian market
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritise independently, and energised by building something rather than maintaining the status quo
What we offer you
- Flexible work arrangements
- Competitive compensation package
- A fun and rewarding team environment
- Opportunity to work for an Australian Stock Exchange listed company
- Employee assistance program
- Paid parental leave policy
- Employee discounts of up to 50% on all our electrical products
