Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager Adult Emergency Room

The Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager will

  • Be responsible for Nursing Quality Improvements activities on the unit.
  • Assist the Nurse Manager in planning for and implementing mechanisms to encourage growth and development of staff.
  • Report any significant changes in the condition of the unit, any incidents and/or personnel problems.
  • Participate in unit-based research.
  • Function as staff as needed to maintain patient safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership in an acute care setting
  • High level of interpersonal skills to resolve complex problems requiring innovative solutions and the ability to negotiate in sensitive situations
  • BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association
  • ECG course completed during clinical orientation
  • PALS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation
  • ACLS certification required or obtained during clinical orientation
  • Critical Care course completed during clinical orientation
  • National certification or nursing administrative certification within one year in specialty specific to care provided

Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm

Salary Range: 112,923.00 - 180,627.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
