About Griff’s
Griff’s is the student-run restaurant and pub operated by the St. Clair SRC. We serve up great food, drinks, and vibes to students and staff in a casual, welcoming space. Whether you're on the floor or in the kitchen, you'll be part of a team that delivers awesome service with school spirit.
Positions Available
- Front of House (FOH): Servers, Hosts, Runners, Bussers
- Back of House (BOH): Kitchen Support, Dishwashing
- Line Prep / Cook Support: Food prep, cooking, plating, cleaning
Key Responsibilities
Front of House
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Take orders accurately and serve food/drinks efficiently
- Keep tables and service areas clean and organized
- Handle POS transactions and payments
- Provide an excellent guest experience with every interaction
Back of House / Line Prep
- Prepare food items following safety and recipe standards
- Assist with line cooking, portioning, and plating
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and prep area
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness procedures
- Support kitchen staff and respond to rush periods with urgency
Qualifications
- Must be a current student at St. Clair College
- Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Team player with a positive, respectful attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Smart Serve or Food Handler’s Certification is an asset
