Position Summary The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Mexico has one full-time Visiting lecturer position available in the Mathematics Program beginning August 2026. Duties include teaching three 3-credit hour courses in Fall and three 3-credit courses in Spring and also serving as coordinator of MATH 1350.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics or Statistics by start date of appointment.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in Mathematics or Statistics as evidenced by CV and cover letter.
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the University's mission to serve local and global communities as evidenced by CV and cover letter.
