Job description
For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a Communication Officer in the Digital Communication Service Business unit!
What are you going to do? Role summary
As a Communication Officer in EMA's Digital Communication Service, you will be responsible for creation of compelling and engaging digital content that reinforces the reputation of the Agency and effectively communicate its public- and/or animal-health messages, in line with EMA's social media and corporate communication strategies.
You have excellent written and spoken English and a track record in translating complex technical or scientific information in an engaging way for non-specialist audiences.
Standard role duties & responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to deliver EMA’s messages to its internal and external stakeholders;
- Create engaging written, visual and multimedia content that addresses stakeholders' needs;
- Monitor outreach and the impact of communication activities using analytics, feedback and reporting tools;
- Assimilate, curate, interpret and visualise EMA data in order to create compelling narratives that meet stakeholders’ needs in terms of transparency;
- Find solutions to communication challenges.
Role specific duties & responsibilities
- Helping to manage LinkedIn, Bluesky and Instagram corporate channels
- Organising live broadcasting formats on social media
- Organising video shoots
- Supporting interactions with influencers.
What do we offer? A fulltime, temporary job from 3-08-2026 until 31-12-2026 (assignment extention is possible)
Salary range
- 5,036.62 gross per month (5 years of experience)
- 5,698.69 gross per month (5 - 17 years of experience)
- 7,295.27 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)
