Sea Freight Container Loader and Stowage Specialist As a loader and stowage specialist for sea containers, you ensure that goods are prepared safely and efficiently for overseas transport. You start your workday at 08:30 by checking the loading lists and the cargo ready for shipment. Throughout the day, you accurately distribute the cargo within the containers, using a forklift and stowage materials to prevent shifting. Around 17:00, you close the last container of the day and ensure the loading administration is up to date. In this position, you work through Staffice at our client's location.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading sea containers according to specific instructions.
• Stowing and securing various types of goods.
• Operating the forklift to move heavy pallets.
• Checking outgoing goods for damage and correct quantities.
• Completing relevant loading documents and checklists.
• Keeping the work location and loading docks clean.
• Applying the correct weight distribution within the containers.

We are looking for

• Proven experience in loading and stowing sea containers.
• Possession of a valid forklift certificate.
• Proficiency in Dutch or English.
• Physically fit and able to work accurately under time pressure.
• Resident in the immediate vicinity of the work location.
