Job description

Role Brief: Brillio is building a legal function that operates as a business enabler. This role is designed for an early-career lawyer who wants to work directly with business teams on contracts, deals, and decisions.

What you will do? Review and negotiate contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements) Partner with sales, finance, and delivery teams on deal execution Evaluate and prioritize legal risk vs business outcomes Build and improve templates, clause libraries, and playbooks Support compliance areas (data privacy, employment, cross-border basics) Contribute to legal operations efficiency (standardization, speed, simplification) What we are looking for? 0–2 years’ experience in corporate law (contracts-focused) Graduate from a top-tier law school Exposure to contract drafting/review through internships or early roles Strong structured thinking and communication clarity Should be able to demonstrate experience working with AI tools A qualified lawyer Willingness to work out of office US Citizen/GC holder Good to have? Experience in corporate law firms or in-house teams Exposure to technology, consulting, or startup environments Familiarity with cross-border contracts / global work What will differentiate you? Prioritizes speed, clarity, and outcomes over perfection Translates legal language into business decisions Demonstrates ownership early in career Has contributed to templates, automation, or process improvements What this role is not? Not litigation-focused Not purely advisory or academic Not a back-office function removed from the business What you get? Exposure to global contracts and leadership stakeholders Opportunity to build and shape legal processes early Fast-track path to business-aligned legal leadership

We are not hiring for experience alone. We are hiring for potential, judgment, and ability to operate in ambiguity. This role is not for a traditional lawyer. We’re hiring someone who can operate at the intersection of legal, business, and execution, early in their career, but ready to own outcomes. This will require ability to deliver faster, operate in culturally diverse leadership team and navigate through dynamic business environment. Apply only if you are willing to thrive in such an environment.
