Enterprise Meeting Services (EMS) is a centralized global meetings and congresses team that offers best in class, compliant and seamless execution of meetings and congresses, utilizing efficient tools and processes to accelerate business requirements and deliver outstanding customer experiences. We take care of all aspects of health care providers and employee meetings and congresses for all business areas such as Marketing, Medical, Sales and others, delivering an end-to-end support that includes strategic project management, consultancy, logistics planning and oversight, contracting, administrative and finance support, vendor management, on-site execution and facilitate transparency publication.

The International Meetings Team delivers strategic project management and implementation of regionally owned events taking place across the International Business Unit and across all functions by ensuring compliance, reliability, and the best quality. Our main focus is on Speaker Trainings, Scientific Exchange, Consultant, Promotional and Health Education Meetings. Our process ensures that we deliver results with integrity, consistency, and quality across the International Business Unit. Our main goal is to provide an unparalleled experience both internally and externally at Lilly.

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for all aspects of customer and employee meetings, incl. travel, contracting, meeting & events logistics, etc.
  • Responsibility for representing and delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Making judgment-based decisions when dealing with complex situations
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships
  • Provide strategic project management
  • Identify and collaborate with the local and regional Meeting Planning Companies and delegate the implementation of meeting logistics
  • Effectively lead, develop, collaborate, and manage multiple relationships with external partners to positively impact the events

Your profile

  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree
  • Comparable experience (minimum 3 years) obtained in the pharmaceutical or hospitality industry with a dynamic environment and international focus
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Project Management experience
  • Able to prioritize and work under pressure, being stress resistant and flexible, and use critical thinking skills
  • Organizational skills, organized approach to thinking and working independently, forward-looking, cooperative, and communicative
  • Polished and cultured conduct and appearance, absolutely focused on providing a service, pleasant attitude, first-class manners, discretion, loyalty, and team spirit
  • Exemplary precision and reliability
  • Outstanding computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Video Conferencing, etc.)
  • Absolute fluency in English, excellent verbal and written skills, and knowledge of any other foreign language are assets
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% if required, mainly within Europe, approximately 1–3 times per quarter
  • Valid work permit for Austria/EU required

Additional Information

  • Location: Austria
  • Transparent Compensation: The collective bargaining agreement minimum salary is € 35,490 gross per year. Depending on qualifications and experience, we offer a market-competitive premium above this minimum.
