Assistant Vice President
Job description
We are seeking a talented individual to join Advisory Team . This role will be based in Thailand . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to
Client Service, Retention, and Collaboration
- Deliver excellent client satisfaction and retention through proactive relationship management.
- Build strong working relationships with internal colleagues and regional teams to meet agreed goals and targets.
- Support senior colleagues with team management activities and coach junior team members to strengthen capability and performance.
- Build and expand a client platform through effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building.
- Maintain strong discipline and consistency across the sales process to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance.
New Business Acquisition and Sales Strategy
- Deliver sales and growth targets with a focus on an assigned client segment or sector.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct sales calls and presentations, ensuring consistent activity and conversion.
- Leverage an existing professional network, targeted research, and provided account leads to identify and win new opportunities.
- Support senior colleagues across markets and industries throughout the deal process to gain broader exposure and build relationships.
- Monitor market developments, trends, competitor activity, and contract movements to identify opportunities and support client strategies.
- Prepare due diligence reports and proposal presentations, including qualitative and quantitative assessments, with minimal supervision. To assist senior colleague in activities of Response to proposal (RFP)
- Participate in professional organizations, conferences, and industry events to strengthen networks and represent the company.
Operations, Policy Servicing, and Claims Support
- Ensure insurance and reinsurance placement is completed in line with project requirements and in the client’s best interests, with strong quality control to minimize & Zero Errors & Omissions (E&O) risk.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing following policy binding, renewals, policy administration activities, and endorsements.
- Manage policy administration activities, including endorsements, coverage clarifications, and timely follow-up on diary items throughout the policy period.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and pipeline records in MPower/Sales Monitoring systems.
- Manage renewal tracking and ensure renewal requirements are completed on time and in full.
- Support the claims team by coordinating and providing claim-related information and data when required.
What you need to have
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management (preferably in broking and consulting).
- Strong understanding of local insurance market operations and practices.
- Proven sales capability with a strong professional network and demonstrated pipeline generation.
- Highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong “hunter” mindset with the drive to meet and exceed income targets.
- Proven track record in technical knowledge, sales performance, and client relationship management within sectors such as Construction, Power, Energy, or Property.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and confidence engaging senior executive stakeholders.
