Senior Product Engineer, Frontend

What is this role about?

As Frontend Focused Full Stack Product Engineer, you’ll be part of solving customer problems from ideation to achieved outcomes. You'll join a small team of 5 engineers and 2 product managers who are building the company's new loan origination system on a modern architecture. The groundwork is laid and a few countries are already live. The challenge now is migrating our remaining markets onto the new system and getting to a place where launching a new country — and testing new loan features — is genuinely fast.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Solve complex customer problems as part of the product team.
• Deliver initiatives from conception to meaningful results.
• Build, scale and run resilient production systems.
• Suggest continuous improvements to speed of delivery and learning through processes, tooling and teamwork.
• Maintain high code quality and architecture representative of the reality of the business to make sure the team does not slow down in the future.

What you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer responsible for system design and delivery of complex projects.
• Strong software engineering background and hands-on experience with React
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business.
• Product-driven and with previous experience in a fast-growing product company.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Bonus points for having
• Hands-on experience with C#, Java or other strongly typed backend language.
• Experience with Azure, Kubernetes and Docker
• Solid grasp of designing distributed systems
• Relevant domain knowledge (finance, credit, banking, insurance etc.)
