What You Will Do

  • Design and develop aerospace components and assemblies using CAD tools
  • Support full product lifecycle from concept, prototyping, testing, and production
  • Perform structural and tolerance analysis to validate designs
  • Create and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design or production issues
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA, FAR/DFAR where applicable)

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace preferred, or in related field
  • Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, materials, and mechanical design principles
  • Experience working with aerospace standards and documentation requirements preferred, or in related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator across technical and non-technical teams
  • Knowledge of aerospace materials (composites, aluminum, titanium alloys) preferred
  • Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems
  • Experience supporting testing, validation, or qualification programs

Pay Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements: We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the needs of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Aguadilla, PR and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.

  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, no travel is required.

Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
