Operations Executive - Customs & Foreign Trade
Job description
Roles & Responsibilities :
Our company is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Foreign Trade Professional to join our
team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's
foreign trade operations, including importing, exporting, logistics, and compliance. The ideal
candidate will have a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the field of foreign trade
management and a proven track record of success in leading international trade operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the company's international logistics operations, with respect to Customs and Foreign Trade.
Oversee the preparation of all import/export documentation, including customs declarations.
Develop and maintain relationships with international customers, suppliers, and partners to handle Customs Clearances and related activities.
Manage team and provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure their continued
professional development.
Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure the smooth flow of goods and information across all aspects of the supply chain.
Monitor and analyze trade data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, including export controls, sanctions, etc.
Educational qualification:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience :
A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in foreign trade management, with a proven track record of success.
Mandatory/requires Skills :
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, including customs regulations, export controls, and anti-corruption laws.
Demonstrated experience in managing international logistics operations, including transportation, customs clearance, and distribution.
Preferred Skills :
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficiency in relevant computer software, including Microsoft Office and trade management software.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluency in English and at least one other language is highly desirable.
