We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our Proton Center on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering precise radiation treatments to patients, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety. This role requires expertise in proton therapy techniques and a commitment to patient-centered service.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• - Deliver accurate and effective proton radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• - Operate and maintain proton therapy equipment in compliance with safety protocols.
• - Monitor patient responses and document treatment progress meticulously.
• - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• - Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and safety measures.
• - Adhere to all regulatory and institutional guidelines related to radiation therapy.
• *Qualifications:**
• Graduation from an AMA approved program in Radiation Therapy Technology or Radiologic Technology is required.
• Registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is required.

Work Experience

• Licensure in Radiation Therapy Technology within the state of Maryland is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Associate of Science degree in Radiation Therapy Technology is preferred.
• One year of clinical practice in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
