Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) – PreK | 2026-2027 School Year

Location: North Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite
School Year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027

Position Details

  • Full-time, onsite position
  • School year: August 17, 2026 – May 26, 2027
  • Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:45 PM
  • Serve PreK students
  • Caseload of approximately 35-40 students
  • School-year schedule with holidays and breaks off

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and provide individualized therapy services
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor, self-care, and functional school skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Support students in achieving greater independence and success within the school environment

Qualifications

  • Current Illinois IDFPR Occupational Therapy License required
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred but not required
  • School-based experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $60,000-$72,000 annually
