About Us

At Dream Giveaway, your work does more than drive results—it helps change lives. We run high-impact digital campaigns combining premium automotive and lifestyle prizes with charitable fundraising, supporting veterans' and children's charities while delivering engaging, purpose-driven experiences to a national audience. We're a fast-moving, mission-driven organization where creativity, accountability, and collaboration come together to make a real-world impact.

Dream Giveaway is now part of the Jumbo Group family—an alignment that strengthens our mission, expands opportunity, and supports long-term growth for our people. This partnership provides greater stability, expanded career growth opportunities across a broader organization, and access to shared resources and expertise, while we retain our entrepreneurial spirit and purpose-driven culture.

What you will be doing

As the Staff Accountant, you will play a foundational role in Dream Giveaway’s Finance team, supporting day-to-day accounting operations for a growing business-to-consumer (B2C) digital business. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will gain hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, business operations, and financial analysis.

You will help the team move from QuickBooks Online to Xero and strengthen financial processes as Dream Giveaway grows. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong accounting foundation while working directly with company leadership.

In this role, you will

Assist with monthly accounting close procedures

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

Analyze financial transactions and supporting documentation

Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities

Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and schedules

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects

Research accounting questions and help improve internal processes

Participate in special projects as business needs arise

Work with accounting software platforms, including QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Ramp, to record, maintain, and analyze financial information

Assist with the move from QuickBooks Online to Xero, including data checks, account mapping, testing, documentation, and workflow improvements

How you'll work

You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and cross-functional Dream Giveaway teams across Operations, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and Technology. You will also interact with business leadership, including the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), and collaborate with Jumbo Group teams across Finance and Business Performance.

You will also

Ask questions rather than make assumptions, contributing to a culture of accuracy and shared learning

Receive and apply coaching and feedback in a constructive and open manner

Collaborate with accounting software vendors, external accountants, and auditors as required

What we would like you to bring

We are looking for someone who asks thoughtful questions, applies feedback, and produces accurate work while building a strong accounting foundation.

We would like you to bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field

Strong academic performance and understanding of accounting fundamentals

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and data analysis

Familiarity with accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar is advantageous

Ability to ask thoughtful questions, research accounting issues, and apply what you learn to support real-world business decisions

Ability to maintain accurate records, keep workpapers organized, and complete reconciliations and reports with a high degree of accuracy while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to receive coaching, apply feedback, and improve work and processes over time

Initiative and a bias toward identifying process improvements

Collaborative approach and comfort working directly with senior leadership

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000 USD p/a
