One - on -One Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time One-on-One Support Worker. In this role, you will work closely with a kindergarten student who requires emotional support, providing guidance and direction during playtime activities. Your primary responsibility will be to create a supportive and engaging environment that fosters positive interactions and helps the child develop essential social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the children in various play activities, including games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, while encouraging positive behavior and social interactions.
  • Implement behavioral management strategies tailored to the individual needs of each child, promoting self-regulation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Collaborate with other members of the support team, including parents, teachers, and therapists, to ensure consistency and continuity in the children's care and development.
  • Document and communicate observations of the children's behavior and progress to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

Passion for Children: Must love working with kids and be patient, attentive, and fun.

Eligibility : At least 19 years old, with a clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain one), and valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Certification: Responsible Adult Course required (20-hour course, cost covered by us)

Job Details

No Weekend Work: Enjoy your weekends off!

Contract Position: 2-3 months (may extend depends on the child's needs)

Full-Time: 30-40 hours per week
