Warehouse Assistant
Job description
Wavelynx makes access control readers — the hardware and firmware that decide whether a door opens.
We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, preparing shipments, and supplying production lines with necessary materials. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and views "work in progress" as an exciting challenge. In this role, you will be working with the warehouse team to establish efficient workflows and implement process improvements to help us build a more scalable operation from the ground up.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Execute daily warehouse activities and tasks as assigned by management or the Warehouse Lead.
- Contribute to process improvements in inventory control and various warehouse functions.
- Handle efficient and accurate inventory control, including counting, organizing, and stocking materials.
- Prepare inbound and outbound shipments, including the manual loading and unloading of trucks.
- Utilize the warehouse management system to log inventory movements and track stock levels.
- Follow and uphold all established safety protocols, procedures, and guidelines for equipment use.
- Assist with routine data entry and updating inventory statuses within NetSuite.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized warehouse environment.
- Supply production teams with requested materials in a timely manner throughout the day.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong inventory control habits with close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in operating a pallet jack and other standard warehouse machinery.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with e-commerce, 3PL, and distribution center environments.
- Ability to utilize warehouse management systems and NetSuite for basic tracking and reporting purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to take direction and execute daily operational goals efficiently.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution role.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Logistics & Compensation
- Location: Broomfield, CO.
- Shift: M-F- 7:30 am - 4 pm
- $22-23 hourly with a potential increase at 90 days
