Job description

Capricor Therapeutics (NASDAQ: CAPR) is a biotechnology company dedicated to advancing transformative cell and exosome-based therapies for rare diseases. At the forefront of our innovation is Deramiocel (CAP-1002), our lead cell therapy in late-stage development for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. We are also harnessing our proprietary StealthX™ exosome platform to unlock new possibilities in targeted delivery and vaccinology. Every program reflects our commitment to pushing the boundaries of science and delivering life-changing treatments to patients and families who need them most.

Responsibilities •

Develop and execute the U.S. HCP marketing strategy for deramiocel, including messaging, brand narrative, and the annual brand planning process, grounded in clinical data and market insight.

Lead the creation and execution of integrated, omnichannel HCP campaigns across personal and non-personal promotion, digital, CRM, media, peer-to-peer, and conference/convention channels to deliver a seamless HCP experience.

Translate the clinical program and emerging real-world evidence into compelling, compliant education and promotional materials and field-facing resources for neuromuscular specialists and the DMD care team.

Partner closely with Sales to ensure marketing strategy aligns with field execution, and lead the development of training, selling tools, and field enablement resources.

Own peer-to-peer strategy, including speaker bureau development and execution, and partner with Medical Affairs on KOL engagement and advisory board strategy.

Lead the development and submission of promotional materials through the MLR/PRC review process, ensuring all work is compliant with regulatory, legal, and company requirements.

Use market research, field insights, and competitive intelligence to identify HCP barriers and opportunities, refining strategy to increase brand adoption and engagement.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, and Consumer/Patient marketing to ensure aligned, integrated brand strategy and execution.

Manage the HCP marketing budget with rigor and clear ROI accountability, allocating resources against strategic priorities.

Establish KPIs and performance metrics for HCP marketing activities to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.

Plan and execute presence at key medical congresses, conventions, and strategic marketing programs.

Requirements •

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree (PharmD, MPH, or related) preferred.

8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech commercial experience for Associate Director; 10+ years for Director, with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility.

3+ years of dedicated HCP marketing experience, with proven success developing and executing brand strategy and omnichannel campaigns.

New product launch experience strongly preferred; experience in rare disease, neuromuscular, cell/gene therapy, or specialty/infused therapy is a strong asset.

Deep expertise in biopharmaceutical brand marketing, messaging development, and multi-channel/omnichannel strategy.

Working knowledge of MLR/PRC review processes, promotional compliance, and applicable regulations affecting pharmaceutical promotion.

Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate market research and data into actionable strategy and measurable outcomes.

Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional influence skills.

Proven ability to build, refine, and scale processes and operate effectively in a fast-paced, growth-stage launch environment.
