Associate Project Manager, Environment Testing, Parsippany, NJ
Job description
The Associate Project Manager supports the Project Management Staff in providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
Must live a commutable distance to Parsippany NJ and have a background in Environment or the Sciences. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a customer service position.
Schedule- Mon-Fri- 1st shift. Compensation- $20-24/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Set-up
- Creates projects in LIMs based on quotes or existing projects
- Creates bottle orders
- Schedules courier as needed
- Sample Receipt
- Reviews sample logins
- Generates subcontract paperwork
- Sends client sample receipt confirmation
- Reviews draft invoice
- Confirms that any client needed information is recorded in LIMs
- Reporting
- Creates and issues final deliverables
- Invoicing
- Reviews final invoice before issuing to client
- Performs invoice corrections as needed
- Other
- Provides coverage with client communication when Project Managers are out of the office.
- Assists with any other tasks as assigned
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Attend meetings within the laboratory
- Cross-training and/or assisting other departments
Education: Associates Degree (four years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for a degree)
Experience: 1-3 years customer service experience
- Great attention to detail
- Proficient in various computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Professional communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Perform other duties as assigned
