Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and document embedded software functionalities.
• Develop, configure, integrate, and maintain Classic AUTOSAR Basic Software modules.
• Collaborate with System, Application, and Software Verification teams to define test specifications and develop test cases.
• Develop new software features while maintaining and improving existing software components.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software integration and system-level issues.
• Participate in software debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Perform code reviews and ensure software quality through static and dynamic code analysis.
• Contribute to software architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation in accordance with project and quality standards.
• Work within Agile development teams and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Classic AUTOSAR Embedded Software development.

Essential skills

• Strong experience with Classic AUTOSAR module configuration, integration, and maintenance.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures and embedded software design principles.
• Experience working with multicore ECU architectures.
• Good understanding of software architecture concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with automotive software development processes, including ASPICE.
• Proficiency in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and related tools.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.

Desired skills

• Experience with Vector tools.
• Knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262).
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity (ISO 21434).
• Experience applying MISRA C guidelines.
• Experience with MICROSAR.
• Experience in bootloader development and HSM firmware.
