At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As an Cyber Technical Analyst, a typical day will include the following duties:

Description

GCI is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cyber Technical Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for the below.

  • Assist the customer both in the active collection of data and in the analysis of collected data.
  • Provide timely, concise, and accurate feedback, and analysis to the customer, and be prepared to present data and findings on an as-needed basis.
  • Draft and coordinate data and findings in customer systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of responses to senior level taskings/requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to utilize an array of Targeting tools/databases for operational leads in support of technical projects.
  • Demonstrate experience assimilating and evaluating large amounts of data drawn from areas such as, but not limited to, all- source traces, technical projects, and imagery.
  • Demonstrated experience converting data into actionable project leads.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining contacts with the appropriate customer, other USG organizations, and IC partners to effectively support/coordinate the sharing of leads.
  • Demonstrated experience having strong analytic, writing, and briefing skills when presenting results of project research.
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with customer data repositories.
  • Demonstrated experience working with the customer and IC targeting tools and databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in the ability to work as a "self-starter" and to steer a targeting program with minimal top-down guidance on specific target prioritization or preferred targeting methods.

Desired Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience with foreign language skills (spoken, written, or reading). Specifically Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Farsi.
  • Demonstrated experience working counterintelligence areas.
  • Demonstrated experience in cyber collection and HUMINT.
  • Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of telecommunications, including cellular networks and computer networks.
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring and keeping track of ongoing efforts and ongoing communication with stations, bases, and other IC elements. As such, the office requests a candidate with SOO experience or with any organizational skills background.

Education Requirement

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

Experience Requirement

  • 8-10 years of experience
  • A candidate must be a US Citizen and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
