How you'll make an impact in this role

• Take full ownership of regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring the unit consistently exceeds safety and quality benchmarks.
• Cultivate a high-performing team – From the initial interview to long-term career development; mentor, evaluate, and inspire a diverse staff to reach their full potential.
• Act as the primary "problem-solver," identifying and removing barriers that impact patient flow and care delivery.
• Design and implement the policies and procedures that define how care is delivered, ensuring every process is both lean and effective.
• Manage the unit’s financial health, overseeing budget compliance and expenditures with a strategic eye on sustainability.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
