As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, observations, and/or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support access control procedures for a professional aero and defense location.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate with supervisors, client representatives, and/or public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
